Remembering the Goose Scosglen Side Quest

Objectives

Find Under the Fat Goose Inn’s missing sign
Head over to the map marked area in Loch’s Bane Ridge. You will find Nairne mumbling to herself. Speak to her to learn more about what happened to the sign.
Speak with Nairne
Retrieve Tavish’s List of Last Deeds from Nairne.
Retrieve Bloodstained Mementos from Tavish’s Belongings.
Nairne will now have you wander around Scosglen, fulfilling Tavish’s last wishes with various objectives listed in his “List of Last Deeds”. Before you go, collect the Mementos just by Nairne’s feet so you can leave them where instructed.
Place Tavish’s dagger on the entrance statue at Maddux Watch
Head to the entrance of the Maddux Watch dungeon and interact with the statue just outside.
Place Tavish’s dagger on the old crane in Old Heimberg
Simply visit the Old Crane in Old Heimberg and interact with it.
Place Tavish’s dagger in a Highland bear den
Visit Recluse Hovel in the southern part of Scosglen to find the bear den. Interact with it to listen to more of the story. You will now have completed the main part of this quest.
Meet with Nairne at Loch’s Bane Ridge
Speak with Torben
You have finally finished your quest and have received the Under the Fat Goose Sign. Head back to Torben at the inn and give it back to him. This will complete the quest and you will earn +20 Scosglen Renown and your reward.

In-Game Description

Torben says an unknown thief made off with Under the Fat Goose Inn’s sign. He believes local mischief-makers, Nairne and Tavish, are likely responsible. Whatever the reason for the theft, Torben wants the sign returned. A blood trail leading east looks to be the best lead to its location.

Nairne confessed to stealing the Under the Fat Goose Inn sign. She says its part of a promise she made with Tavish before his death—a “List of Last Deeds.” If I help her complete this list, she’ll return the stolen sign. This is her last opportunity to bring closure to Tavish’s passing. Fulfill their promise.

Nairne and I completed Tavish’s “List of Last Deeds.” Though her promise has been fulfilled, it is clear Tavish’s absence still weights on her. I should get the Under the Fat Goose Inn sign back to Torben.
