Assassin's Creed: Odyssey

To Kill or Not to Kill

By
Scott Peers

To begin this quest you must meet with Myrrine and Brasidas at the border of the Golden Fields and the Smuggler’s Forest in Arkadia. When you approach the rock face where they are situated, use Ikaros to identify their precise location. As you reach the top, you will find that they are in fact not there. Instead, a bounty hunter is waiting for you. After a brief exchange of words, you will have to defeat him in combat. He is not a particularly difficult opponent, but you should avoid his special attacks while using heavy attacks to weaken his shield defence. When you deplete his health to near zero, he will yield and you can question him. You will have the option to use forceful speech or be more diplomatic. Using the forceful speech will result in a fight to the death at the end of your questioning, while the diplomatic approach will allow the bounty hunter to continue roaming the world. Whatever you decide, you will now find Myrrine and Brasidas on a hilltop south west of your location.

When you arrive at the location where Myrrine and Brasidas are waiting, you must decide on the method by which you will deal with the cultist Lagos. Following the advice of Myrrine results in a swift outcome and the immediate death of Lagos, but this comes at the expense of stability in the region. It is advised that you listen to Brasidas to ensure that Lagos’ innocent family are saved. When you have made your decision, the quest completes.
