Why should I be keeping an eye out for these?¶
Viewpoints are one of the most important things in the Assassin’s Creed series. Synchronising at them will not only mark nearby collectables on the map and provide a more detailed minimap, but it will also clue you in to the location of nearby resources, shops, and objectives.
There are a total of 22 in the game, so make tracking them all down a priority!
This example shows a Templar den, which, when ignited, will automatically synchronise and give you the same map vision that getting the viewpoint manually would. You can see the little V shaped wooden platform that elsewhere in the game denotes where you can synch up and earn a viewpoint.
