Fragmented Fragmentum¶
The second dungeon is located along the north-west edge of the Yulyana region, directly west from Yulyana Needleworks. If you’ve never been there, it’s the landmass north-west from Ancheim and the needleworks is the building north-east from the large central lake.
Since the Rubadub can’t land on top of trees, you’ll need to physically walk from the needleworks, but it’s a short distance and you’ll be there before you know it. Originally, this dungeon was Mount Fragmentum from Bravely Default, but Ba’al Diamante kind of blew it up.
East¶
There’s literally nothing to see on your first trip here; simply travel in a westerly direction to reach the next area. Once you arrive in the Central area, briefly head north and take the nearby exit on the right. Back in the East area, keep going to reach a chest containing a Caduceus .
This mighty rod can inflict sleep or instant death if you hit an enemy with it–not something a magic-user should be doing, but when push comes to shove… After that neat find, return to the Central area to proceed.
Central¶
Back at the Central area, make your way to the south-east entrance where you first came from and head directly west from there. Along the way, check out the precipice along the south where an Enopu Mushroom is growing. At the far end of this path is a chest with a Dragoon and a dragon inside…

---|---|---|
80 | 200,000 | Water, Dragon |
For players of Bravely Default, the Dragon served as one heck of an early-game boss. Here, it’s strong as ever, but pretty straightforward compared to previous bosses you’ve faced. For attacks, it uses Mow Down to physically damage your party or Bully to hurt the lowest HP character.
Very often, it’ll Brave to unleash both attacks, before inevitably going immobile for one turn. What you can do is Default to brace for the impact, then heal and attack on the next turn. When you have the chance, buff your party’s physical defence to spend less time Defaulting.
With the Astrologian’s Limit Break to double your buffs, you can shrug off the Dragon’s previously fearsome attacks and focus on the offensive. As before, greatswords are great (no pun intended), while water-based attacks will be effective too.
Central (Continued)¶
With your second dimensional dragon slain, return to the east side, where the two entrances are, and follow the remaining trail north. As you travel west, halfway along the path there will be a precipice below with a chest tempting you to open it. If you do, you’ll find a Futsu-no-Mitama and a…
