How to Get Flour in Enshrouded

By
Craig Robinson

Flour is a cooking ingredient that players can find and make in Enshrouded. This resource is used for various cooking materials, allowing you to make some solid foods for strength and constitution-focused builds. We’ll teach you how to get and make Flour in Enshrouded to aid you with these efforts.

Flour is a product that comes from the Grinder, requiring you to harvest Wheat from farms.

How to Make Flour in Enshrouded

The main method of getting Flour in Enshrouded is by grinding Wheat Grains in the Grinder. You will need two Wheat Grains to craft one Flour, and it will take five minutes to craft each Flour.

However, Wheat doesn’t come from nowhere. You can go to Bounty Barn in Nomad Highlands if you need a reliable farm. This is one of the green farming settlements located on the large plateau to the east side of Umber Hollow. To reach this point, travel south from the Nomad Highlands Tower and follow the elevated cliffs to reach this location. See the image below for additional context.

When you’re at the farm, look for the field. The field will have small yellowish bushes you can farm. You will get access to Straw, a material used for building materials, and then Wheat Grains. Be wary of the tigers and spiders hiding around the farm though, they hurt.

From that point on, you can now plant Wheat Grains and begin growing your own wheat in your Farmbeds. Alternatively, you can go straight to the Grinder and turn it into Flour. It is worth mentioning that players can get Flour from random drops in the Nomad and Kindelwastes. Souterrain farm, located southeast of Bounty Barn, is prone to having at least one stack of Flour either in the grain bags you can destroy, or located on props in the POI. It’s not a reliable farming method but worth noting if you’re in the area.

What can you make with Flour in Enshrouded

As alluded to earlier, Flour is a resource used in crafting meals. The meals you make with it are as follows:

  • Flatbread - A 5 Strength meal, requiring 1 Salt, 1 Water and 1 Flour. Perfect for Warriors and their hardy jaws.
  • Meat Wrap - A 5 Constitution and 1 Intelligence meal, requiring 1 Water, 3 Red Mushrooms, 1 Raw Sand Digger Meat and 1 Flour. This is an ideal meal for all spellcasters due to low HP on gear.

Both of these meals will require the Farmer and Oven to be unlocked. And there you have it. You now know how to get flour and what to do with it in Enshrouded.
