Protect Buffs

Description

Makes a character harder to kill by increasing their defense against physical attacks.

Methods of Application

• Equipping the Fortification Materia at any level

Opposing Effect

Protect and Deprotect both impact a character’s physical defense, and cannot both be active at the same time.

Notes

The Protect status effect is as straightforward as they come. If a character is weak to physical attacks, applying this effect is a good way to keep them in the fight.
