Quetzalcoatl Abilities¶
A basic GF, Quetzalcoatl starts with Mag-J and the basic battle commands, including Magic, GF, Draw and Item. Quetzalcoatl can natively learn HP-J and Vit-J, as well as the customary Elem-Atk-J, Elem-Def-J and Elem-Def-Jx2. Quetzalcoatl’s unique abilities include Card, which turns enemies (once sufficiently weakened) into cards, a very useful ability at this will earn you AP without earning XP. T Mag-RF allows you to refine thunder and air magic out of items, including Tornado, which is a potent junction and easily acquired, even at low levels. Mid Mag-RF upgrades low level magic into mid-tier magic (Thunder into Thundara, for example). Finally, and most importantly, Quetzalcoatl has Card Mod, which refines Triple Triad Cards into items - a must have ability that makes your party more powerful from the beginning of the game to the very end.
