When we first met Bon Clay earlier in One Piece Odyssey it is fair to say he was a bit of a handful. With an under-equipped group of Straw Hat Pirates at the time, the unusually dressed baddie put up a strong fight in the middle of the earl part of the story. Now we prepare to meet him for a second time as he is the second Challenge Cube’s boss fight.

Where Is Challenge Cube 2?¶

Having been given all the clues you need to find the first Challenge Cube, the rest of the Cubes are a bit more a problem to find. Red-Eyed Lim will give you a Challenge Cube Memo which gets added to your inventory with some vague directions, but from then on you need to put your memory to the test, combined with a lot of running around to locate the subsequent geometric task givers.

How To Beat Bon Clay In One Piece Odyssey’s Challenge Cube¶

By the time you face Bon Clay in this Challenge Cube battle you should not be afraid. If anything he is easier to get rid of than Smoker was in the introductory Challenge Cube.

(1 of 3) Watch out though as Bon Clay has a few dangerous strikes of his own

There is still a need to limit Bon Clay’s attacks as much as possible as his kick is a dangerous weapon - and it is much stronger than it was the last time you met him. Using a couple of Luffy’s more powerful attacks however should soon take the wind out of him and get you on top in the fight.

It may be that you have to buff Luffy just to keep his TP high enough to do all the damage, but with a couple of well-placed special attacks you should soon complete Challenge Cube 2.
