Pokémon: Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

Fiery Path

By
Vincent Lau

A linear cavern with a bit more to see after you can use Strength.

Pokémon Encounters

Name Type Location Encounter Rate

"Koffing" IconKoffing Poison Cave 30% (OR), 5% (AS)
"Machop" IconMachop Fighting Cave 5%
"Numel" IconNumel Fire/Ground Cave 40%
"Slugma" IconSlugma Fire Cave 10%
"Torkoal" IconTorkoal Fire Cave 10%

Pokémon Evaluations

Nothing spectacular here. The main highlights are still "Machop" IconMachop and "Numel" IconNumel. "Torkoal" IconTorkoal provides a more suitable alternative to Numel if you don’t like its double-weakness to Water.

Other than that though, the Fiery Path is very linear; just go north and along the path. You’ll later be able to do more in there when you can use Strength out of battle, but not until then.
