Tips & Tricks to help you conquer the galaxy¶
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order can be very daunting when you first boot it up, but don’t worry as here are a few tips that will make your journey a little easier.
- Explore your surroundings!
Whilst adventuring through the galaxy you’ll want to constantly be searching around the area to find Chests that hold cool treasures, such as, new designs for your poncho, and different cosmetics for you Lightsaber. You can also find Secrets that are scattered around the planets, these will upgrade your Health and Force.
It doesn’t stop there as you can find Echo’s which reward you with XP that will give you Skill Points when you level up, these are crucial for Cal’s character development as it will help you fight stronger enemies. There are 10 hidden plants within the different planets, these can be placed in the Mantis to make Greez happy.
There are also Encrypted logs for you to discover whilst adventuring the galaxy, these will give you some XP. Finally, your friendly companion BD-1 will want to scan certain objects in the game, these will give you a better understanding of the galaxy as well as some XP.
- Play on the Jedi Knight difficulty
For your first time through the game it would be a good idea to play on the default difficulty, Jedi Knight, as it is still pretty tricky but it will give you a chance to understand the Parry System better which will come in handy when attempting the harder difficulties later.
- Take some time learning the Combat System
Once you’ve made it to the first planet, Bogano, you’ll want to spend some time fighting the enemies in the area to get a better understanding of how the combat system works.
- Unlock any Shortcuts you come across
Whilst exploring the planets for the first time, make sure to unlock any shortcuts you come across as it will make your life easier when you revisit later on with new abilities that will allow you to obtain any collectibles you couldn’t before.
- Make use of the Tactical Guide
As you defeat enemies throughout the galaxy BD-1 will want to scan them, always do this as it will give you information on what attacks certain enemies have and it is needed for a Trophy/Achievement.
- Pay close attention to the holomap
Whilst adventuring through the planets for the first time, make sure to keep checking the map as certain areas will show up in red, this means it isn’t accessible yet due to you not having the required abilities.
