You need to be controlling Gohan to begin this substory, plus you also have to complete A Father’s Dignity. Mr. Satan seems to be having a problem with keeping Buu satisfied with food and asks for your help. Buu seems to be into fish right now, so Gohan suggests catching something fresh. Head to a fishing spot in the region, then keep catching them until you snag a Big Fish. Return to Satan and while Buu enjoyed the fish, it seems it wasn’t quite enough.

Satan now suggests that a full-course meal might do the trick, so Gohan visits his mother to see what she says. Chi-Chi mentions that she has a recipe, but will require a few ingredients in order to whip it up. Specifically, she needs 4 Prime Marbled Dino Meat, 3 Shiny Rice, and a Premeium Golden Venison. The Shiny Rice can be purchased from any food vendor and you can find a golden deer northeast from Goku’s house (look for the NPC talking about it). For the Dino Meat, you will have to deal with the dinosaurs. Any dinosaur will do, but there’s only a single one in the Southeast Mountains Area, so you will likely need to head to other areas to find more. Do what you usually do to them and hope for the drops. Once you have all of the items, return to Chi-Chi and have her make the dish (and also hand you the Premium Meat Course Recipe). You’ll automatically return to Buu and finish the substory.
