Mass Gravel & Sand

By

Walkthrough for the Mass Gravel & Sand area in Fallout 4.

The Mass Gravel & Sand area.

The northernmost area in the Cambridge region, it occupies a nebulous position between Lexington and Cambridge. You can find it by going west and slightly north from Wattz Consumer Electronics, southeast from Lexington Apartments and north of the [Collegiate Administration Building].

Exploring Mass Gravel & Sand

Despite having its own map marker, this area isn’t all that much more interesting than many of the unmarked areas in the Cambridge region. The entire site consists of a fenced-off area occupied by two silos and a white office-tower, and is infested by Mole Rats. As usual, most of them are unleveled, and these ones tend to be more spread out than others in different areas.

Eliminate the rodents, then climb a chute to find a Duffle Bag. Other than that you can find some lockers and a Weapons Workbench in the tower.

(1 of 2) Aside from its Molerat infestation, there’s little of interest at Mass Gravel and Sand.

Aside from its Molerat infestation, there’s little of interest at Mass Gravel and Sand. (left), If you follow a road to the east, however, you can claim a new suit of Power Armor. (right)

Mass Gravel & Sand - Power Armor

While the grounds of Mass Gravel & Sand aren’t too interesting, if you head due east from the white tower you should hit a road. Follow this northeast a short distance and clear out the Bloatflies and any other critters that may be lurking about and you’ll find some decent loot hiding in various containers - namely Wooden Crates and Ammo Boxes.

The back of a trailer [Advanced] may look promising, but you’ll find little of interest inside. A caged suit of Power Armor is more promising, however. Just hack the Terminal [Advanced] on the side of the cage and claim your new suit of Power Armor. Doesn’t get much easier than this.

Note that you can also reach this power armor from Wattz Consumer Electronics, just circle around to the southern corner of the building, get on the road past a blue trailer truck, then follow it a few steps west to reach the military checkpoint.
