How to Find Dew Drops¶
The purest form of water in Grounded is obtained through drinking Dew Drops. It restores +50% of your water bar. Dew Drops can be found hanging from the tops of blades of grass (not dead grass). It appears that Dew Drops are found most frequently in the mornings - similar to dew in real life!
To get to the water, you’ll probably find it easiest to smack the blade with an axe to get the water to fall to the ground. Be careful though! If you smack a blade of grass above a dirty puddle or pond then the lovely pure dew drop will be lost!

Later in the game, you can make Dew Collectors at your base so you can collect dew easily. Up to 4 drops of dew can collect on the Dew Collector. To unlock the recipe, analyze a Silk Rope at the Resource Analyzer.
Drinking Nasty Water¶
In the early game, you’ll often have to resort to drinking nasty water - it’s inevitable. It’s easy to find and will quench you, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any consequences. Drinking puddle or pond water will make you sick and quickly deplete your food bar so make sure you’re stocked up on snacks if you’re gonna be drinking nasty water.
Nasty water is gross but sometimes unavoidable!
Other Ways to Quench Thirst¶
Other than drinking dew drops and pond water, you’ll also find a few other types of liquids to quench your thirst.
Soda Drops¶
Soda Drops can be found in Soda Cans. They replenish +10% Water and +10% Food.
Soda drops quench thirst and replenish hunger.
Aphid Honeydew¶
Aphid Honeydew is a resource dropped by Aphids (small green bugs) that have been hanging around Clovers.
