By
Shane Williams

This page is a walkthrough on how to complete the UNSC Distress Call, Carrera Squad in Halo Infinite. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to freeing the marines.

Head to this location on the map to find the Carrera Distress Call.

Prerequisite:

Begin the Main Mission: Recovery.

Description

Distress call received from Carrera Squad. Rendezvous at their position to provide assistance.

Where to find the Carrera Squad

Once you begin the fourth mission, Recovery in Halo Infinite, you’ll arrive at a small island which has a few UNSC Distress Calls. One of which is the Carrera Squad which can be found south of FOB Golf.

How to Complete Carrera Squad

As you arrive you’ll find a marine squad being tied up and guarded by several different enemies, such as Grunts, Jackals and Elites. In order to save them you’ll need to clear out the area, but you don’t want to go in guns blazing as the enemies using Stalker Rifles will quickly take you down.

(1 of 2) Take out the snipers

Take out the snipers (left), then deal with the grunts. (right)

So take out the enemies using Stalker Rifles which are easily identified by the red lasers coming out of their weapons. Enter the area once all snipers have been taken out of and eliminate the Grunts. Upon taking out all enemies, the marines will be freed and the UNSC Distress Call will be completed.
