This is a walkthrough for The Stillsands Relic Ruin in Horizon Forbidden West (HFW). It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to finding the Store Key and collecting Go Big Ornament.

Objectives¶

1. Find The Store Key
2. Get The Crate Across The Water

Where To Find The Store Key¶

Approach the Relic Ruin from the north part and rappel down to get inside, then head to the back of the room to find a Crate on the left. Use your Pullcaster to pull it down, then drag over to the wall covered in Firegleam back where you dropped down.

Ignite it by holding R2 , then place the crate close to the platform inside and jump up to interact with the valve. Drop down and push the crate into the small gap in the wall to block the drain, then once the area has filled up, swim over to the stairs located over to the east side of the room and pick up the Store Key.

How To Get The Crate Across The Water¶

Dive back into the water and swim over to the north of the room to find a locked door that you’ll want to interact with to open. Grab the crate from inside and pull into the water, then grapple over to the pillar and use your pullcaster on the crate to drag it further out.

From here, swim over to the nearby rusty stairs and pull the crate again, then swim over to the platform on the left and pull it. Finally, stand in front of the railing behind you and pull the crate once more, then jump onto it and climb up the wall to reach the Go Big Ornament.
