Elite Ropecaster Description

This coveted Ropecaster can quickly tie down enemies with its Advanced Binding Ropes. It can also fire Shock and Plasma Ropes, which deal damage over time.

How to Get the Elite Ropecaster

Thornmarsh Hunter Metal Shards x1249, Elemental Clawstrider Circulator x1, Large Machine Core x1

You can purchase the Elite Ropecaster from the Hunter who has set up camp at Thornmarsh. You’ll need a Elemental Clawstrider Circulator which is an uncommon drop from Clawstriders and a Large Machine Core which is a Rare Drop from Large Machines.

How to Use the Elite Ropecaster

The Elite Ropecaster is best used when fighting larger machines that are susceptible to Shock or Plasma Damage. A Great way to use this weapon is to have it equipped at all times, then when you stumble across a flying Machine you’ll be able to fire a Binding Ropes at it to prevent it from moving away. Additionally, if the Machine is weak to Shock or Plasma Damage, then use the Shock or Plasma Ropes to tie the machine down as well as dealing elemental damage.
