As you wander around Hawaii and Japan, you may stumble across Party Chat opportunities, represented by green text bubbles that pop up. While interesting enough due to how these chats flesh out your companions, participants will also receive Bond Points, making them a useful way to increase your Bond Level. Unfortunately finding Party Chats isn’t a simple matter, as they do not appear on the main map at all, and only appear on the minimap when you’re very close to where one triggers. To that end, this page will provide a list of all the Party Chats in Japan, including links to our Interactive Map that’ll help you find each one.
Party Chats in Japan¶
As mentioned earlier, Party Chats will pop up when you get close to their location, otherwise they won’t be marked in any other way on your map. The only way to find Party Chats, then, is to simply wander around the city, searching every nook and cranny, hoping to trigger one. There are 61 Party Chats in Yokohama, so they’re not exactly rare, but it’s a lot of busy work for relatively little reward, especially if you don’t have a map!
To complicate matters further, Party Chats in Yokohama seem to unlock in two phases - many unlock in Chapter 8, while even more unlock in Chapter 10. It’s pretty easy to tell these apart - if Zhao is a participant, the party Chat probably unlocked in Chapter 10. If you want to find all the Party Chats in Yokohama, then, you’ll need to either wait until Chapter 10 or make two sweeps through the city. Otherwise the course of action is simple, if tedious - wander around the city and when you see green text bubbles, activate the Party Chat and once it finishes all participants will gain +10 Bond Points.
