Resort Rank Three introduces the island’s last two areas and stronger enemies to fight. You are going to need a large amount of Dokobucks to reach Rank Four, and you will be crafting more expensive furniture than ever. How to Reach Resort Rank Four - Dondoko Island¶
Resort Rank Four is another big step up that’s meant to keep you busy for a bit longer than the last rank. This time, you are back to clearing two areas, and they are the final two locations on Dondoko Island: The Cave and Forest. To reach both locations, you have to pay 200,000 Dokobucks to construct bridges, and you must also pay a massive amount of money to clear the area. The Cave costs 800,000 Dokobucks to clear, but with each level of trash you clear, the price drops by 70,000 Dokobucks. You also must defeat more enemies to gain access to the area, and this time, you are facing the hard-hitting Dread First Mate, who takes around six hits to subdue. Once you finish up with this area, it will connect to the Meadow, giving you a large area to build on. You must be Builder Rank 35 to clear the trash from this area.

You won’t be able to build the bridge to the forest until it’s been a day since reaching Rank Three. At this point, you will be forced to go to Dondoko Farm to fight a pack of boars with your Sujimon. This is an easy fight to win and will unlock the ability to get Dondoko Sirloin. Once this is complete, you can pay to build the bridge and challenge the Dread Quartermaster and his team to a fight for access to the Forest. The Quartermaster is another hard hitter that should take six hits to defeat. After you’re done, you can pay 1,000,000 Dokobucks to clear the trash from the area. If you clear it out yourself, the price decreases by 100,000 Dokobucks at each level. For this area, you will need to reach Builder Rank 40 to clear away the trash.

Just like before, buildings are the way to go. Make sure you are gunning for the ones that unlocked most recently for maximum points. At this point, you will be using a high amount of stone and wood, so prepare only to make around one large building a day if you’re going for the ones that give you the most points. How to Increase Your Resort Popularity and Satisfaction to Reach Resort Rank Four¶
There are two more fishing spots that unlock, one at the bridge to the Meadows and one near the waterfall in the forest. These offer some new fish to catch, so make sure to use them to earn extra Popularity points. You can also focus on setting up the new grow kits that unlock when you reach Rank Three to rank up the popularity of vegetables quickly.
Satisfaction remains easy to raise, simply create any new outside only furnishings (such as the various buildings) and place them around any patches of land that is still free and you’ll hit the goal in no time. As mentioned above, filling out your Dokopedia with higher ranks and new specialties will raise your Popularity the quickest.
What Unlocks at Resort Rank Four?¶
Resort Rank Four unlocks the Oversized Garbage Station and Pickup Point. The last garden kits will unlock, allowing you to grow Garlic, Hot Peppers, Dondoko Nuts, and Dondoko Herbs. You will receive 500,000 Dokobucks and $100,000 to use back on the mainland. Rank Five mainly focuses on raising your points higher and taking care of the Swashbuckler gang for good. You will also get a trophy for reaching Rank Four. Don’t rest there, however, as there are some great unlocks that come with reaching Rank Five!
