The Blaster stance is the brand new stance to play in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. The stance is all about adding some extra methods to the madness, granting you a combination of light blaster attacks, and some heavy-hitting charged attacks. So, if you want to do your best Han Solo poncho look, then here’s how to get and use the Blaster Stance in Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
How to get Blaster Stance in Star Wars Jedi Survivor¶
The main thing you need to know about the Blaste stance is that it unlocks on Jedha. Jedha is the third planet you visit in the game, coming in after you have discovered the temple in the forest. Once you make your way to Jedha, you must first meet the rendezvous area, and go through that stage. Eventually, you will reach the contact when that chapter of this story arc is done. This is the mission objective, arrive at Cere’s Base.
Once you arrive at the contact and establish another base on Jedha, you will unlock the Blaster Stance shortly after. Proceed through the new base, and get cutscene with Cere. Once done, exit the kitchen, and proceed back to the hanger.
How to use Blaster Stance in Star Wars Jedi Survivor¶
You need to know that Blaster Stance is a very limited stance you can utilize. The reason why is that it has ammo, which you only regenerate by using an off-hand lightsaber to regenerate your ammo. It takes five swings of the offhand lightsaber to regenerate two bullets, meaning you need to attack three times to generate one bullet, and another two times after to generate the second bullet.
Each time you shoot the gun, you will spend one bullet. If you opt for the special attack, which charges up a special round, it will consume two bullets. Therefore, it’s very easy to quickly burn through the ammo with this thing, forcing you to use your off-hand weapon.
Other than that, for more intense battles, you’ll still likely want to use your dual wield or double-ended lightsaber for those more aggressive boss fights, or very close-range AOE fights.
Of course, this gun gets upgrades to spend your skill points on, making it much better in combat. It’s just you’ve likely already deeply invested in another lightsaber stance at this pint, and switching weapons may feel slightly awkward at this stage of the game.
