Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Velocidrome

By
Vincent Lau

Velocidrome is another Bird Wyvern that is the dominant alpha male of the smaller minions known as Velociprey. Quick and small, Velocidrome can prove to be difficult to keep up with. While Velocidrome doesn’t have a wide arsenal of attacks, it easily makes up for it by moving quickly from place to place, often hopping back to avoid your weapon.

Areas: Everwood

Attacks

Front Bite: Velocidrome will rush you and try to bite you. Roll to the side and continue hitting in order to avoid this attack.

Pin Attack: Velocidrome will jump on you, pin you down, and start biting you.

Pounce: This is Velocidrome’s hardest hitting attack. Velocidrome will jump forward and attempt to pounce you.

Minion Making: Unlike Great Jaggi, Velocidrome will not do a long, drawn-out, clear howl to summon more minions. Rather, Velocidrome will summon Velociprey towards it when doing its initial roar and its rage mode roar.

Breakable Parts

The Crest: Velocidrome’s crests will have the tips broken off once you break them.

Weaknesses

Elemental: Ice

Status: Any
