Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Rusted Kushala Daora

By
Vincent Lau

As Kushala Daora ages and becomes larger and more powerful, its metallic hide must be shed. Given its composition, it is incapable of growing and stretching with Kushala Daora’s body. However, once Kushala Daora reaches a certain age, estimated at anywhere between a few decades to several centuries, it will stop shedding its skin. Over time, through wear and tear, and sheer age, Kushala Daora’s hide will begin to fade and lose its luster, giving it a very iconic “rusted” look, hence its name. A rusted hide is a sure sign of a Kushala Daora more powerful than any of the rest.

Attacks

Rusted Kushala Daora is not a subspecies so much as a very, very old (but nowhere near crusty) Kushala Daora. Rusted Kushala Daora spends a markedly increased amount of time flying around and dancing in the air, forcing you to either wait for it to come down to the ground, or waste time chasing it around. Rusted Kushala Daora will also let loose huge wind tornadoes more often than Kushala Daora, and they will move around much more. Some theorize that these tornadoes can sense body heat, which would explain why they tend to follow you. Because this is G Rank, Rusted Kushala Daora will one-shot you with most of its cyclone attacks.

Breakable Parts
