After using the bedroll on the cliff by the beach, you awake in your home. Take a moment to look around and loot anything that you find. The most important thing that you can loot here is the ‘Primitive Satchel’. This can be found beside the fire immediately down the stairs from the upper room. Equip the satchel and be sure to place any items that you acquired on the beach from your pockets into the satchel. This will relieve any burden of carry weight while still allowing you to possess specific items, especially of heavy yet useful items such as the pickaxe.
Loot the chest on the other side of the fire and then go into the other room to your right. Loot any items that you find (particularly food items) and then head downstairs. Here you will find more food items but also some useful every day kit such as a bedroll, lantern and flint tools. In addition you will find a recipe for basic cooking. Use it from your inventory to learn its contents. Be sure not to use the lantern until absolutely necessary; it will eventually burn out.
When everything in your house has been looted, use the front door to head outside. Here you will be confronted by some local civilians. Go through the motions of the chat until the dialogue ends. At this point you will be informed that you must pay 150 silver within 5 days or your house will be seized. Alternatively you can perform a tribal favour to pay off the debt. The tribal favour is the preferred method, allowing you to spend silver on items which will be of use out in the wilderness. As such this is what the guide will pursue.
Once you have spoken with Rissa the quest will end. So begins ‘Call to Adventure’.
