Description¶

This page offers a guide on grabbing the Shine Sprite in Episode 7 of Noki Bay. This area is accessed by looking into the sun near the Shine Gate once you’ve collected 20 Shines back in Delfino Plaza.

Defeat Shadow Mario¶

Shadow Mario is back once again to cause mayhem and it’s down to Mario to teach him a lesson or two. As with all of the Shadow Mario Courses, the objective is to chase him down and spray him with the FLUDD until he succumbs.

To begin the chase, head across the nearby platforms and he’ll start running away. He’ll begin scaling the cliffs with a combination of Side Somersaults and Wall Kicks so apply the same manoeuvers yourself and keep spraying him once you get close. Should Shadow Mario reach the top, he’ll dive into the water before running the same loop again. Once you’ve struck Shadow Mario enough, he’ll fall to the ground, head over to him to snag another Shine.
