Upon creating a new character in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, one of the things you will have to do is distribute something called Hero Stats. If you’ve ever played Dungeons and Dragons, then you know that you will be allocating stat points to your character when creating them. There’s six different stats you need to be mindful about during the game. This page will give some brief details about each of the six main stats, as well as which classes are best suited for each stat.
How to Assign Hero Stats¶
You can distribute a total of 10 Hero Stats on character creation, which means you might be able to cover some of the negative stats from the Backstory. Also, each time you level up in the game, you will gain a single Hero Point. You might be wondering where you might distribute these, as it is a little bit hidden. On the Skills menu, where you assign your Skill Points, you should see a button prompt in the bottom right corner. Press Square (Playstation), or X (Xbox), to access the Hero Stats page, where you can assign any Hero Stats you have accrued.
Types of Hero Stats and Best Class to Use Them With¶
Strength¶
Strength is the measure of your physical might. It determines whether landing a Critical Hit is going to send your enemy into condescending chortles or to Ye Olde Emergency Room. It contributes to your Critical Hit Damage.
You will definitely want to invest in Strength for a majority of the characters, as despite the generalization that it might be used for melee, it simply affects Critical Hit Damage. This and Dexterity go hand-in-hand, as the extra Critical Hit Chance from that stat will make this even stronger.

Dexterity¶
Dexterity is the measure of your weapon precision. It determines whether you could or could not hit a cow’s arse with a banjo. It contributes to your Critical Hit Chance.
Dexterity can be a double-edge sword, as you will initially think that pumping points into this stat can make things easier in the long run. That can be true at some points, but it’s important to remember that enemies tend to have easy-to-hit spots on their bodies that will always deal critical hits. Of course, there are some enemies out there that have difficult spots for critical hits, or they might protect them by blocking the incoming damage. However, there are some builds that focus on dealing critical hits and if you can do that without targeting those spots, then Dexterity will be a stat on which to focus.

Intelligence¶
Intelligence is the measure of your spellcasting speed. It determines whether you’re the fastest caster in the whole wizard school or better off hucking sedated doves at your enemies. It contributes to your Spell Cooldown Rate.
If you are using a lot of spells during your playthrough, you will want to heavily invest in this stat. That means a class like the Spellshot will be building this stat from the start, as a lot of their damage will be coming from spells. For those builds/classes that are more likely to be using guns to deal damage, though, there is absolutely no reason to invest in this stat at all.

Wisdom¶
Wisdom is the measure of your elemental damage output. It determines whether you leave a trail of smoking skeletons in your wake, or if they can shrug you off with an over-the-counter sunblock. It contributes to your Status Effect Damage.
Wisdom is focused on the status effect/elemental damage you do with your attacks. If you are focused on an elemental build, then this can be a great stat to worry about, but for the most part Wisdom is probably not something you will want to focus on at all. That’s because the majority of your damage will likely be coming from critical hits and flat damage, and not from the status effects.
Best For: Stabbomancer, Graveborn
Constitution¶
Constitution is the measure of your survivability. It determines whether you can take a punch from a god, or you can put yourself into a comva from stubbing your toe on a not-even-particularly-well-fed rat. It contributes to your Maximum Health/Ward.
If you want a tanky character, you will probably want to look into the Constitution stat, as it helps increase your maximum health/ward. While it’s not entirely important to any big build, if you happen to be dying a lot during the course of your playthrough, it’s always worthwhile to add some points to this.
- Best For: Brr-Zerker, Clawbringer, Graveborn
Attunement¶
Attunement is the measure of your ability speed. It determines whether you’ll be able to do that cool trick you want to show the person you called into the room, or–oops, no, they left already. Dang. It contributes to your Action Skill Cooldown Rate.
Attunement does nothing for spells, so look into Intelligence for that. What Attunement does is focus entirely on reducing the cooldown for your Action Skills (the Ability Damage modifiers focus on the Action Skills). So, if you’re using a class that is using a lot of Action Skills, then you will want to put points into this. Just note that there is usually a lot of skills in the skill trees that help reduce the cooldown of Attunement, so this isn’t an entire important stat.
