Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on how to complete the Missing Parts standard quest, which is the third phase of the rebuilding Dorrick storyline in Colony 30 in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

How to Start the Missing Parts Standard Quest

In order to unlock this quest, you’ll need to first complete the Big Friendly Friend quest as well as the second phase of rebuilding Dorrick in which you offer Repapa lots of collectible materials from across different regions. After, you’ll be able to speak to Repapa at the Colony 30 Maintenance Bay to begin this next quest.

How to Complete the Missing Parts Standard Quest

Once the quest has been accepted, you’ll be tasked with gathering information around Colony 30 about the missing parts. The three people you need to listen to are the following:

  • Ven: he can be found near Colony 30 Maintenance Bay. He’ll mention that Widgewidge was seen carrying a massive bag near Lisza Garden.
  • Zooza: she can be found on the balcony over looking the Maintenance Bay. She claims that Dinkidinki hid some mechanical parts at Sparres Barr.
  • Ritz: he can be found near Colony 30 Canteen. He mentions that Levnis parts can be found near Bittley Slope.

After speaking to all three and gathering their information. Rest at the Canteen and discuss the Missing Parts. Afterwards, you’ll need to head to all the of the places you’ve heard about and recover the Mechafriend parts for Repapa.

Mechanical Parts from Lisza Garden

The fastest way to get to Lisza Garden is to fast travel to the Conqueror’s Peak Landmark and then head east to find the mechanical parts near a boulder. If you’re a lower level than 40 you may want to steer clear of the Agnes fighters nearby the landmark!

Head east from Conqueror’s Peak to find the mechanical parts.

Mechanical Parts from Sparres Barr

The Mechanical Parts you’re looking for in Sparres Barr can be found southwest of the lake. The quickest way to get there is to fast travel to the Killy Fors landmark (if you’ve discovered it). From the landmark you can hop down from the cliff to the area below and grab the parts.

Head to Killy Fors landmark and drop off the cliff to the north to grab the mechanical parts.

Mechanical Parts from Bittley Slope

To get to Bittley Slope, fast travel to Seilas Terrace Camp rest spot and then walk south to retrieve the Levnis parts. This last one is the most tricky since you’ll want to be careful not to aggro the Agnes fighters stood right next to the mechanical parts (this warning is only applicable to you if you’re lower than level 40). You can hug the cliff to the left and sneakily interact with the mechanical parts without being detected though - might take a couple of tries but you can just run away and try again.

Careful of the Agnes fighters to the right of the Levnis parts!

Once you’ve retrieved all mechanical parts return to Repapa in Colony 30. Then, speak to Dinkidinki and Widgewidge about their involvement in the missing parts. And finally, speak to Yuzet to finish up the quest.

After finishing this quest, you’ll now unlock Phase 4 of rebuilding Dorrick in which you’ll be required to give Repapa even more items and materials…yay?
