You are starting a new chapter and will gain access to a new area of Springdale, which means that there will be new Requests, as well as new Yokai to find. Of course, the most important Request available is the Rank A Challenge, which will upgrade your Yokai Watch to Rank A (and is the last upgrade before the postgame). You will also want to do Ms. Frost’s Favor and Unlucky Family, as both of those will give you new Yokai (Frostina and Lodo, respectively). Whenever you’re ready to progress the main story, follow the marker on your map to get to Eddie’s house, where you’re greeted with a Rank B Watch Lock.
Yes, that means you’ll need to do both the Rank C and B Challenges in order to get inside of Eddie’s house. Once inside, head up to Eddie’s room and he’ll give you a Museum Ticket, allowing you to go inside of the museum in Breezy Hills. Note that there is one Request that you couldn’t access before, since the person who gives it is inside of the museum, so if you’re doing all of them, don’t forget to get that one. Anyway, talk to Eddie inside and then go around the museum, looking at the exhibits with him, until he decides to leave. Talk to him once more by the front desk and he will mention coming back to the museum at night.
Inside the Museum¶

B3-NK1, Badude, Castelius II, Contrarioni, Espy, Grumples, Lava Lord, Rattelle, Skelebella (rare) |
When you return to the museum at night, talk to Eddie and then you’ll have to find another way inside. If you go around the corner, you should see what looks like a mirror on the ground. Inspect it and you’ll be automatically teleported into the museum, where there will now be a bunch of mirrors and security lasers. The lasers don’t do anything, except block your way, and the Mirapo in the middle of the room will bring you back outside, so there’s only one way to go for now. Keep going until you come to the big room on the right on the first floor, where you can find a chest with a Storm Charm .
When you come to the stairs leading to the second floor, Eddie will disable the lasers, allowing you to go upstairs. Before doing that, though, go into the room on the left and grab the chest for a Purple Coin , as well as the two chests next to the stairs for a Staminum Alpha and Medium Exporb . Now you can go upstairs and as soon as you do, go into the room on the left to find a chest with an Earth Ring . Take the only mirror you can now to end up in the big room on the right, where the mirror in the middle of the room will take you to the bottom right with the chest ( Hidden Hits ).
Return to the previous mirror and use the one at the bottom of the big room to end up in a small area, where you can grab the Vault Key from a plant. Retrace your steps to return to Eddie with the key, where he’ll have disabled the entire security system. Before going into the vault, head back upstairs and grab the two chests you couldn’t before ( Light-Blue Coin in the chest near the stairs and Turnabeads in the room on the left). Open the vault door and inspect the armor in the back, triggering a boss battle!
BOSS - Phantasmurai¶
When you begin the battle, you can target either the armor of the boss or his sword. The sword has a lot of health and once you deal enough damage, it will break. As you attack the boss and deal enough damage, the armor will open up and the boss will be dazed, allowing you to finally deal damage to the boss. He is weak to earth-based attacks, if you want to use any Yokai with those kinds of attacks.
As for attacks, Phantasmurai has a normal attack that hits one Yokai, as well as Aerial Slash that hits your front row. Spirit’s Curse is nothing more than an inspirit that stops the Yokai from doing anything, so make sure you Purify that Yokai right away. Once you get his health down to below 50%, he’ll summon another sword in his other hand and will be slightly stronger. Also, he will likely use Cursed Slash , his Soultimate attack, on you shortly, which hits the front row multiple times. It can also guard now, and you can break this sword, too. Anyway, since it is exposed and not doing anything for a good while, the boss should be pretty easy to bring down.
After the battle, you will befriend Mirapo, as well as gain access to Mirapo for warping. Basically, you can now warp across many different areas now instead of having to trek it on foot/bicycle. You just have to make sure you activate the Mirapo in order to use it.
