The Prince’s Palace is a location you will find in the Harbiyah region, located on the eastern side of the map, in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. It will be a place you visit during The Concubine contract, which is essentially a side mission. However, getting the Gear Chest then might make things a little more complicated, as there will be more guards stationed at the location. That means it’s much easier to go here during your freeroam to nab the chest.
How to Get the Gear Chest at the Prince’s Palace - AC Mirage¶
As should be expected, the Prince’s Palace is a restricted area and stepping foot through the front entrance will have all of the guards coming after you. Thankfully, this is one of the easier spots to infiltrate and remain unseen. First and foremost, you won’t be able to use Enkidu here at first, as there is a Marksman in one of the towers. This special enemy’s sole purpose is to shoot an arrow at your feathery friend, which will prevent you from using him for scouting.
The Marksman won’t be in your way at all in reaching the Gear Chest, but if you want to do some scouting with Enkidu, then it’s a good idea to take him out first. The way inside the area is via the western wall. There will be some scaffolding on this side that allows you to climb onto the outer wall of the grounds. From here, follow the wall clockwise, until you reach the far side, where you will see the tower with the Marksman in it. You can either jump to the tower for a sneak attack or simply toss a Throwing Knife at him.
Once that’s done, you will be able to use Enkidu to scout the other enemies in the area. Things might get a little tricky here, but don’t forget that you have tools at your disposal. The reason for this is that access to the Gear Chest is on the ground level, and there are plenty of enemies in your way. Throwing Knives can get rid of the two guards on the uppermost level inside the main grounds. Of course, killing one will highly likely draw the attention of the others, but this is probably the easiest way of doing things without being seen.
If you do this outside of The Concubine contract, then you should have three guards on the upper level and three on the lower level, with one of those latter ones guarding the main entrance. The best course of action here is to sit on the upper railing after taking out the guards there, then sit on it until the one patrolling guard comes near you. That’s your cue to toss a knife at the other normal guard, then immediately drop down to assassinate the moving one. The Horn Blower guarding the main entrance isn’t really a factor, so you can ignore him.
Go inside the room with the Gear Chest, which is slightly hidden behind a partition, and open it for either the Zanj Uprising Outfit or one of its Upgrade Schematics.
