Once you’ve managed to progress in the story a little bit, you will get a notice about being able to meet with Sharma Salsa in Banapur. Doing that will unlock two kinds of activities called Kyrati Films, which are races. The ones titled Racing will involve you going through a series of checkpoints to try and beat an overall timer. Each race will have three times to beat, a bronze, a silver and a gold, with the higher ones giving more money.

These side missions are repeatable, although you cannot repeat them to get more money. However, if you beat your best time, you will get the gold payout again. There’s also a leaderboard that shows the top times by players worldwide, should you feel like competing against those a bit. There’s a total nine races, all unlocked by liberating outposts, and the only bonuses you get will be XP ones.

The times given when you accept the mission are the ones you need to beat and you’ll have to pass through every single checkpoint along the way.
