How to get the Royal Lunatender

The Royal Lunatender is a new item that can be found while exploring the the new Treasure Hunt content in Patch 6.05, the Excitatron 6000. This requires you to first gather a Timeworn Kumbhiraskin Map using a Miner, Botanist or Fisher and you can gather one per daily reset. Alternatively, you can purchase these from the Market Board, albeit at a high price at the start of Patch 6.05.

With the map in hand, locate the spot and form a party of up to 8 party members (this needs to be premade, no Duty Finder) and enter the Excitatron 6000. Once inside, you’ll need to progress through the chambers and clear the final one where there’s a chance for one to drop in the loot pool. This is a rare chance and you’ll be competing against most players given the rarity of it, especially at the start of the patch. The Royal Lunatender are not untradeable, meaning that you can purchase them from the Marketboard, however expect to pay a large sum due to the item being new as of Patch 6.05 and very rare.
