Speak to Jinglun¶
To start this quest go to the Events page and then into Event Details, Meteoric Wave and then the quest “The Siege of Qingce”. This will add it to your Quest log, click Navigate and your objective will tell you to speak to Jinglun.
Jinglun can be found at the western edge of Wuwang Hill, if you take the Teleport Waypoint it will teleport you right to him, once you get there speak to Jinglun and he will ask you to help out and kill some monsters and destroy their obstacles blocking the path.
Defeat all enemies and clear all the obstacles¶
Follow the path south east and you will encounter a couple of barricades and a few Hilichurls, most notably the Blazing Axe Mitachurl, anything works here but Pryo followed by Electro to trigger Overload is especially strong here. Defeat the enemies and destroy all of the obstacles (towers and barricades).
Return to Qingce Village and report back to Jinglun¶
Head back the way you came and speak to Jinglun and he will tell you that they have encountered another monster which was too strong for them and if you could help him again, agree and head up to the northwest.
Defeat the enemies¶
Once you arrive to the objective you will see a Stonehide Lawachurl. These can be very tough. You can use Geo or Claymore attacks to break down their shield but be warned that they have around 70% resistance to Geo once their shield has dissipated. Once their shield is down focus on using Hydro and Electro to trigger Electro-Charged which will deal continuous Electro damage over time and it will also interrupt their actions. Beidou’s Stormbreaker skill is useflul here as it can shield you from the damage and then counter with an Electro attack.
It has your standard Melee Attack which can knock you down which is avoidable by dodging as soon as it raises its hand.
A Jumping Slam Down attack, what you want to do here is stand just outside the south of the red AoE marker and as it lands dodge away from it to avoid the Geo aftershock it creates as it hits the ground.
And finally a Triple Slam attack which it will slam both arms on the ground and create an aftershock which will come out from it and head towards you. The easiest way to deal with this, is pick a direction and keep running that way, as each hit strikes the ground, time the dodge button the way your running. Sometimes it will only do one of these slams so its not always a triple attack.
Report back to Jinglun¶
Go back to Junglun and tell him you have dealt with the monster to complete the quest.
