Tchia hosts a number of trophies and achievements that mostly revolve around getting various collectibles. However, there are some other trophies/achievements that require you to do some miscellaneous tasks. This page will detail how to unlock the Soul-Cannon trophy/achievement.
How to Unlock the Soul-Cannon Trophy/Achievement in Tchia¶
As you progress through the main story in Tchia, you will unlock one of the main gameplay mechanics, called Soul-Jumping. This is unlocked during Chapter 4, when you are going to get an audience with Meavora. Soul-Jumping is done by pressing the L1 button, which brings up your aiming reticule. If there’s any compatible items nearby, you will be able to move the reticule over them, then press R2 to possess that item. Note that as soon as you possess an item/animal, the meter on the bottom of the screen will start to go down.
The speed at which it goes down will be determined on the object/animal you possessed. For example, a fast moving animal will make the gauge go down a lot more quickly, so keep this in mind. Of course, animals don’t come into play with this trophy/achievement, so you will need an inanimate object, like one of the many rocks you can find littering the landscape. To unlock this trophy/achievement, you will need to do a specific set of steps. To get started, activate Soul-Jump by hitting L1, then possess an object, like a rock mentioned above.
Once you possess it, hold down L2 to aim the object, then press R2 to launch it along the trajectory shown. As soon as you launch the object, trigger Soul-Jump again and try to quickly target the object that’s in the air. Locate it and finish the Soul-Jump to get into the rock, where you will go flying and unlock this trophy/achievement. Note that this is a great way to travel the islands in the game, especially before you unlock all of the Docks or some other options.
