This page details how to complete Chapter IX - The Plan in the Tchia main story quest. During this quest you’ll need to complete another visit to the Banyan Tree and hatch a plan with your mother to take down Meavora.

Return to Ieji Sinöe¶

Your first task will be to return to Ieji Sinöe all the way from Uma. Your best bet here is to use your boat to sail from Uma to one of the east coast docks, like Tingeting and then either fast travel to Gwâ dock (if unlocked). Whether you depart from Gwâ dock or from any other west coast dock on Madra Nöj or Ija Nöj, you’ll need to sail west back to Ieji Sinöe.

Once you’ve arrived at the island, head up the hill to the campfire to speak with Tchia’s mother.

Enter the Banyan Tree¶

After speaking at the campfire, you’ll need to head to the southern side of the island to the Banyan Tree. Once there, you’ll need to head inside the tree to witness another series of drawings that’ll outline what you need to do. You’ll walk slowly through the Banyan Tree uncovering more information and backstory about Meavora.

The Banyan Tree will give you Meavora’s backstory and how to defeat him.

After passing through the tree and hearing the story of Meavora, you’ll need to speak with Tchia’s mother and hatch a plan to defeat Meavora once and for all!

Confronting Meavora¶

During this next cut scene Tchia will return to Aëmoon to confront Meavora. She’ll trade herself for her friends and Meavora will eat her up whole!
