Welcome to our guide for Yo-kai Watch, a game that has drawn a lot of comparisons to Pokemon, which at first glance is a respectable comparison. However, outside of the monster-collecting aspect and it being aimed towards children, the two sets of games are very different and play almost nothing alike. The series is not exactly huge outside of Japan, where the series has plenty of other media attached to it, including an anime, as well as a few spinoff games already.
