Eldarium is a new resource exclusive to the Isle of Siptah DLC expansion for Conan Exiles. It’s a rare substance that requires some effort to obtain and forge, but we’ll take you through a quick and easy step-by-step guide for how to get all the materials to make Eldarium bars.
How to Forge Eldarium¶
Eldarium is a metal forged at a furnace and it can be made with either x2 Decaying Eldarium or x1 Scrap, with the latter making 5 Eldarium bars! Unfortunately, neither of these things is that easy to come by and cannot be mined for or harvested from the world. Decaying Eldarium, Scraps, and Eldarium bars are exclusive to the Isle of Siptah, and so naturally, you’ll need to not only have the DLC expansion but also be playing on the Isle of Siptah map.
How to Get Decaying Eldarium¶
Decaying Eldarium is a material obtained from the Dungeon Bosses and end-of-dungeon Loot Chests found in Elder Vaults on the Isle of Siptah. Though a much rarer drop, some minor devolved enemies found in dungeons will also drop the occasional Decaying Eldarium. So, if you’re looking for Eldarium, you’re gonna have to do some dungeon delving! The Elder Vaults are recognizable by their tall glowing blue runic entrance.
Here’s a list of all Elder Vaults on the Isle of Siptah. These dungeons also reset after 15 minutes, so you can continue to farm a particular vault if you prefer. Thankfully, Decaying Eldarium is a guaranteed drop from the Dungeon Bosses but the amount you get will differ.
If you’ve decided you want to head into a dungeon to grab Decaying Eldarium, you’ll need to make sure you’re well prepared. There are a lot of enemies to deal with as well as the Dungeon Boss, so you’ll want the best gear to get you through it.
How to Get Scraps to Make Eldarium¶
Alternatively, the better option for crafting Eldarium might be to obtain Scraps instead. They’re not a guaranteed drop but a single scrap will produce x5 Eldarium bars so you don’t need a lot to get your Eldarium stock up.
There’s a 25% of 2-5 Scraps being dropped by the Accursed mini-bosses found in Accursed Camps, or from Pools of the Grey Ones spawned enemies.
If you’re looking for a quick and easy solution, go for the Accursed mini-bosses since the Pool of the Grey Ones requires a bit of extra work as you’ll need to find figurines to place on the pedestals at the pools on the Isle of Dawn to spawn in enemies.
Below you can find some map markers for approximate locations of the Accursed mini-bosses. These guys will eventually respawn, so don’t despair if you don’t get any Scraps the first time around!
Accursed mini-boss | Location |
---|---|
Krait the Planewalker | Map Marker |
Fin the Rambler | Map Marker |
Rabid Milly | Map Marker |
These Accursed min-bosses are found in Accursed camps that aren’t marked on the map but can be differentiated by their spiky fencing and tall wooden sigil. You’ll also encounter other Accursed enemies in the area so be sure to come well prepared.
And as mentioned, you’ll get between 2-5 Scraps at a 25% drop rate, with each scrap producing x5 Eldarium bars so you should get plenty in no time! You can then use Eldarium to make various armor and weapons.
