Fatshark is offering players a deluxe version, featuring cosmetics as a support reward for the Imperial Edition. However, the Darktide Imperial Editions skins are not available until the full game launch on November 30. The result is that players who bought the Imperial Edition will have to wait until the full game launches.
Over on the game’s official Discord, community manager Hedge posted the update regarding the Imperial Edition skins: “PRE-ORDER ITEMS AND IMPERIAL EDITION SKINS. These items will be granted to eligible players on November 30th!”
Fatshark stated in the main beta update post shared on their site and socials that the game is still in a testing phase. Therefore, players can expect wipes and beta progression to not carry over to the full game. Moreso, not all of the game’s features are present in the pre-order beta while the devs still improve performance, and test progression, levels and more. Even the cash shop is not in the game just yet, which will prevent you from spending that Aquilas premium currency you get from the bundle too.
Therefore, most of the game’s cosmetics are not available in the game, bar a few base cosmetics through character achievements and the recently revealed Twitch Drops.
Once when November 30 arrives, players will be able to get their hands on the Imperial Editon skins, featuring:
- Loyalist Pack: Purge heresy in style with these 4 unique class outfits, 8 weapon skin patterns, one set of headgear as well as an Ogryn body tattoo.
- Mortis Veteran Portrait Frame: A cosmetic portrait frame used to pay tribute to the fallen defenders of Tertium Hive.
- Caducades Backpack: A cosmetic backpack for human characters. Scavenged from the fallen troops of Cadia, this backpack has been repurposed to serve those still alive and fighting.
- 2500 Aquilas (premium currency)
If you’re interested in getting cosmetics in Darktide, why not check out the Twitch Drops and the cosmetics you can get by completing the penance achievements in the game?
