Wo Long Fallen Dynasty launches Friday 3rd, March 2023. As you may already know if you played any of Team Ninja’s previous games, such as Nioh & Nioh 2, you’ll be unlocking lots of spells, so if you choose a correct spell, then you may be wondering if you respec. This page will detail everything you need to know about respeccing in Wo Long.
How To Unlock Repec in Wo Long¶
Team Ninja’s games are known for difficulty and the ability to create a unique build due to the large variety of weapons, stats, armor and spells. However, you could easily play through the entire game with the same four spells whilst changing the odd one here and there when you come across a boss that requires a specific spell such as Lu Bu. Additionally, you’ll need to put a lot of points into a specific one of The Five Phases in order to deal more damage with your desired weapons. For Example, Duel Swords will scale of the Water Phase.
You can eventually unlock all of the spells in Wo Long, but you will need to play the majority of the content in order to get the required levels. With that said you may play through 50% of the game and decide you’re getting bored of your current playstyle, so you fancy using a different weapon, but you don’t have the correct phase leveled up in order to make good use of it.Unfortunately, you don’t have anymore skill points available, You’ll now be be wondering if you can respec?
The good news is, you can, but you’ll need to progress through a large amount of the story before you find the NPC that offers this service. In order to unlock respeccing you’ll need to complete the main quest, In Search of the Immortal Wizard which is in Chapter 3. Upon completion you’ll meet Zuo Ci and then he’ll be located in the Hidden Village. Speaking with him will give you the options to change your appearance and Respec.
