Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Wo Long System Requirements: Can You Run It?

By
Jacob Woodward

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty looks to set those Nioh cravings at ease with fast and furious combat and many of its spiritual predecessor’s mechanics coming over to this iteration.

However, things have changed technology-wise since both the first and second Nioh games released , leaving many wondering if their PC will be able to run this new title.

This guide will take you through all of Wo Long’s system requirements and put your mind at rest before you pick it up.

Wo Long System Requirements

Wo Long Ice Weapon Wizardry Spell

If you’re opting to play Wo Long on PC whether that be via Steam or on Game Pass, you’re going to first need to know if your rig can run it. And if you’ve checked out the trailers, you’ll realise that it is a pretty good looking game with plenty of effects on show.

Thankfully, you won’t need an absolute powerhouse to run it however and below, we’ll run you through all the system requirements both minimum and recommended so you can be sure you can play this visceral title.

Minimum System Requirements

If you’ve got a more budget gaming setup, you might be aiming for the lowest graphical settings thus needing to know what the minimum system requirements are. We’ve got the details for you right here:

OS
Windows® 10, 64-bit
Windows® 11, 64-bit

CPU (Intel)
Intel® Core™ i5-8400 or higher

CPU (AMD)
AMD Ryzen™ 5 3400G or higher

Memory
8 GB RAM

GPU (NVIDIA®)
GeForce® GTX 1650 (VRAM 4 GB) or higher

GPU (AMD)
Radeon™ RX 570 (VRAM 4 GB) or higher

Storage
60 GB of free disk space

Looking at these minimum specs for Wo Long, you can see that you’ll be able to get away with a gaming PC that has a few older components inside. The 1650 GPU is one that has been around for some time, and the fact that it will run with just 8GB RAM is a little crazy seeing as we’re in 2023, with titles only getting more intensive.

Unfortunately, these components are likely to only output Wo Long at 720p and 30 FPS so not exactly ideal, but certainly playable on smaller monitors.

Recommended System Requirements

If you want to avoid any jitters and enhance those textures a little more, the recommended Wo Long system requirements are probably what you want to be aiming for in your PC. Here is a full list:

OS
Windows® 10, 64-bit
Windows® 11, 64-bit

CPU (Intel)
Intel® Core™ i7-8700 or higher

CPU (AMD)
AMD Ryzen™ 5 3600XT or higher

Memory
16 GB RAM

GPU (NVIDIA®)
GeForce® RTX 2060 (VRAM 6 GB) or higher

GPU (AMD)
Radeon™ RX 5700 XT (VRAM 8 GB) or higher

Storage
60 GB of free disk space

These are certainly a little more meaty than that of the minimum requirements with not only a 2060 GPU but doubling that RAM to 16GB, something we’re certainly more used to seeing this day in age.

Owning a PC of this ilk should easily be able to get you Wo Long in 1080p and 60 FPS on the standard graphics type. This will make the game not only look pretty but also pretty smooth, something you should be aiming for in a fast-paced title like this.
