Assassin's Creed: Valhalla

How to Convince Oija, Sister Frideswid's Blacksmith

By
Scott Peers

When you meet the blacksmith named Oija at Bodilsburg Garrison during Bleeding The Leech, you’ll need to convince him that you’re a member of the Order of Ancients if you want to avoid a fight. You’ll have the following three dialogue choices:

“I’m the one asking questions.”

This dialogue will lead directly to a fight with Oija.

“I’m a friend.”

This one requires at least level 2 Charisma, but Oija won’t believe you and it will soon lead to a fight.

“I’m a member of the Order.”

This choice is the only one which leads to an outcome where Oija is convinced that you’re a member of the Order of Ancients. If you happen to have an Order of Ancients medallion in your possession at the time, Eivor will automatically reveal this as proof, and the blacksmith will be convinced. Otherwise, you’ll have two dialogue options following this one:

“The Order is eternal.”

These words will reveal to Oija that you’re not a true member of the Order of Ancients. A fight will follow.

“Father of Understanding guide us.”

This will be sufficient to convince Oija that you’re a member of the Order of Ancients. He’ll tell you where to find The Leech without having to fight him.
