Assassin's Creed: Valhalla

All Power of Muspelheim Upgrades

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on all Power of Muspelheim Upgrades in the Dawn of Ragnarök DLC.

When activated, the Power of Muspelheim gives you immunity to lava and fire damage, meaning you can walk on the lava rivers around Muspel territory. In addition, you’ll also have a Muspel disguise that allows you to walk freely amongst the Muspel until the power timer runs out (25 seconds). Below, you’ll find the upgrades available for the Power of Muspelheim, which can be upgraded at a Blacksmith found in any Dwarven shelter.

Muspelheim Fury

The Muspelheim Fury upgrade unlocks a new special attack! Whilst Power of Muspelheim is activated, you’re in a Muspel disguise and this lets you get close to Muspel enemies. With this upgrade, you can perform a heavy attack and cause a big 5m radius explosion. The disguise aspect is great for getting close to the enemies but it will, naturally, be broken if you use this special attack.

If you want to unlock this upgrade you’ll need x5 Silica and x20 Magma Blood.

The muspel disguise and muspelheim fury combo lets you get close and catch them off guard with your explosion!

Muspelheim Endurance

This upgrade will extend the duration of your Power of Muspelheim to 35 Seconds, which means you’ll be able to sneak around in your Muspel disguise or walk on lava for longer!

If you want to unlock this upgrade you’ll need x5 Silica and x20 Magma Blood.

How to Get Silica

Silica is a material obtained from Silica towers found exclusively in raiding locations. You’ll need to summon your raiding party to obtain the silica and you can either do this via your tool wheel once you’re at the destination, or by sailing into the raiding location’s docking area.

Collect silica to upgrade your hugr-rip.

How to Get Magma Blood

Magma Blood is a material dropped most commonly by Ash-Bringer elite enemies. It can also be dropped by normal Muspel enemies but its not nearly as common. Ash-Bringers are a pretty common elite enemy in Gullnámar and can be found in most of the enemy territories so you shouldn’t have any issue collecting enough to upgrade your Power of Muspelheim.

Magma blood can be obtained from Muspels.
