Assassin's Creed: Valhalla

All Weapons and Armor

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on how to find all Weapons and Armor in Gullnámar, in the Dawn of Ragnarök DLC.

There are 3 Armor pieces and 1 Weapon to collect in the Gullnámar region.

Fire Giant Bracers

The Fire Giant Bracers can be found in a cave near the Smelting Foundry in the northern region of Uldar. To get to it, locate the archway with a lava river flowing out of it. Use your Power of Muspelheim to travel into the cave across the lava and then head to the right to find an area not covered in lava. Don’t dilly dally though as you’ve got more lava traversing to do! Continue around to find a small stream of lava and a hole in the wall that you can squeeze through Travel through this area quickly as you’ve got limited time before your Muspel powers run out.

The bracers can be found in Uldar (left), you’ll need to use the Power of Muspelheim to traverse into the lava cave. (right)

Once through the narrow gap in the wall, you’ll be in an abandoned mine type area. Make sure to harvest the power from the flowers so you can use your Muspelheim powers to leave the cave later! Continue up the ramp to the left of the flowers to find some more flowers and an explodable wall. You can just shoot the red oil vase to break down the wall. In this next room, you’ll find the chest containing the bracers.

Fire Giant Helmet

The Fire Giant Helmet can be found in a chest in Gomull-Brú, which is found near the big bridge across the Vindkleif River. The chest is blocked by a moveable shelf, found near a stone house in the middle of some lava. You’ll need to use the Power of Muspelheim to cross the lave, move the stone shelf and then loot the chest for the helmet!

Fire Giant Armor

The Fire Giant Armor can be found in a chest in Skidgardr. The chest is found in a small cave beneath a mound, but to open it you’ll need two keys.

The Fire Giant Armor can be found in Skidgardr (left), the chest requires two keys. (right)

The first key can be found on a dead body half way up the mound (use Odin sight to spot its exact location). You can either use the Power of Muspelheim to get up the hill or use the zip wire and drop down onto the patch of rock where the body is found.

The second key is found atop a wooden platform up in a tree at the bottom of the mound - you’ll also find a Platinum Ingot on this platform too! To get to it, you’ll need to use the Power of the Raven to fly up and land on the platform. This power, if you don’t already have it, can be obtained from the dead Ravens nearby or by killing one of the Giant Ravens flying around Skidgardr.

Once you have both keys you’ll be able to open the chest and claim the Fire Giant Armor.

Use the Power of the Raven to fly up to the platform!

Legacy of Ivaldi Hammer

The Legacy of Ivaldi Hammer can be found in Hreidmar Palace, found in southern Gullnámar. It’s found in a locked chest on the highest courtyard of the palace. There are a lot of enemies in this area so you’ll probably need to take them out before you can do anything. The key you’ll need for the chest can be found in a cave on the lower level of the Palace grounds. To access the cave you’ll need to activate Power of Muspelheim, and if you’ve taken out some enemies your hugr bar should be ready to go!

Once you have the key, you can return to the chest and claim your new hammer!
