The Purple Talisman Locations Quest

By
Ben Chard

Chapter 4 sees The Destined One traverse the murky caves of the Webbed Hollow, an area you’ll traverse from its heights, all the way down to its depths. As with most areas in Black Myth: Wukong, there are plenty of hidden quests to seek out and the Purple Talisman Quest is no different. Keep reading to learn where to find all four Purple Talismans and what happens when you remove them all!

The Second Sister will warn you about pulling the Purple Talismans in Black Myth: Wukong.

If you want to jump to a specific section, click on the links below.

Purple Talisman #1 Location - The Verdure Bridge

For the first Talisman, you’ll have to head through the Chapter until you reach The Verdure Bridge Shrine in the Webbed Hollow. This is roughly around the middle of this massive, sprawling cave though, so you’ll need to explore a good chunk of it before you can start this quest.

From the Shrine, make your way across the bridge and start heading left to trigger a scene (the first time you’re here). Keep going left and through a passageway that leads down and keep going until you reach an open area. You’ll see some shacks here and in the middle, a "Scorpion Prince" iconScorpion Prince who you can absorb the Spirit from, along with a "Luojia Fragrant Vine" iconLuojia Fragrant Vine. After dealing with that, head up the stairs to the left, and then hang a right to spot the first altar where you can remove the Purple Talisman from and trigger a scene.

(1 of 4) Cross the bridge at The Verdure Bridge Shrine.

Purple Talisman #2 Location - Cliff of Oblivion

This is a simple Talisman to find, and one that you’d need to try very hard to miss. After you reach the Cliff of Oblivion Shrine (which is on the main route through the Webbed Hollow), instead of going through the passageway to the "Buddha's Right Hand" iconBuddha’s Right Hand boss, look to your right (or where you came from originally) to spot the next Talisman sitting there.

It’s hard to miss the second talisman, just look to your right from the Cliff of Oblivion Shrine.

Purple Talisman #3 Location - Cliff of Oblivion

The next, and final Webbed Hollow Talisman can also be found by starting at the Cliff of Oblivion Shrine, but you’ll have to do a lot more exploring for it. Start by defeating Buddha’s Right Hand and then cross the makeshift bridge following it, you’ll be presented with two paths you can take.

Take the path to the left, cross the bridge and then cross another bridge with plenty of Cocoons hanging over. Follow the path after crossing it and you’ll reach an open area full of abundant plants which stands out a little in the hollow. Be sure to grab the Shrine, Relief of the Fallen Loong, while here and then go up to the left of said Shrine and continue going forward and up (near where the archer is), you’ll find the altar and Talisman up here.

(1 of 4) Take the path to the left after crossing the Buddha hand bridge.

Purple Talisman #4 Location - Court of Illumination Keeper’s

You’ll have to wait until you’re almost done with the Chapter before reaching the fourth and final Talisman. Once you find the Court of Illumination Keeper’s Shrine (which is the final Shrine of the Chapter), go behind the tree and take the stairs up to find the final altar in the middle of a courtyard. If you’ve not found the other three yet, you’ll find an invisible wall prevents you from approaching this but if you have, go over and pull away the final Talisman!

Purple Talisman Quest Reward

So, what do you get for completing this reward? First, you’ll need to battle the "Supreme Celestial Inspector" iconSupreme Celestial Inspector that appears first. This is not a regular boss battle, you’ll just need to damage him enough until he relents and triggers a scene. You’ll be able to open the box behind him following the scene, this will land you a "Celestial Nonary Pill" iconCelestial Nonary Pill (which increases your max "Stamina" iconStamina) and add the Supreme Celestial Inspector to your Portraits, this is needed for a Trophy/Achievement.
