To begin this side-quest, talk with Sam at the Oxford Base. After a brief conversation, your objectives will be updated. Exit the base and get ready to destroy some turrets… to the max.
We’ll need to go to a couple of locations now in order. Each of the locations we visit will feature a blue mission zone inside of which you need to track down and find the turrets within.
As soon as you exit the diner and head towards the quest marker, you should see the first turret across the road, directly in front of you between two buildings. Destroy this. We’ll now need to track down four more turrets in the quest area. They can be found in the following locations:
- Hop over the fence behind the first turret and look to the right along the waterfront. You should be able to make out another turret on a pier in the distance.
- This is located on a second pier, further along the waterfront from the previous turret.
- Return to where we destroyed the first turret and make your way left along the water. You’ll find the fourth turret in a fenced off area ahead.
- The final turret on a pier behind the fourth turret.
Destroying the first five turrets will have the quest location marker head elsewhere. Make your way north to the new quest area. We’ll need to track down and destroy another five turrets located in this zone. Note that this time around, there will be multiple Scabs and Scab Rushers running about in addition to the turrets, so keep moving until you can thin their numbers a little to make things easier!
The turrets can be found in the following locations:
- On the stage filled with Scabs on the waterfront (we picked up the Flywheel from this location in an earlier campaign mission).
- At the top of the stairs directly west of the stage.
- Next to the street by the base of the southern end of the stairs opposite the stage.
- At the base of the northern end of the stairs opposite the stage.
- On the waterfront directly south of the stage.
After destroying all five turrets, run over to the stage and interact with the remote control dish to pick It up. Now we need to head back to the Oxford base, climb to the roof and stand in the quest objective marker for a scene.
Once you regain control, head across the street to the rooftops ahead. We need to kill the various gunner, Rusher and Tosser Scabs here until we reach a total of 25, but we cannot destroy the turrets. Instead, we have the option to deactivate them. Although it is entirely possible to complete the quest without deactivating the turrets, it’s just much easier if you do! To do so, we need to reach style level 1 so use grinding, bouncing and killing in combination to raise your style meter. Unfortunately, the prerequisite style level for deactivating the turrets will increase, so keep your combos active as long as possible to keep the style maxed.
After killing your quota of Scabs, the mission will be complete.
