After speaking with the scout with the side-quest marker over his head at the Troop Bushido base to begin the mission, next you’ll want to make your way over to the first objective marker nearby.

At this location, you’ll spot a Herker on a roof nearby. This is our target. Use the wires along the street to attack him, and dodging back and forth to avoid his projectiles whilst staying (mostly) out of the way of the large number of regular OD in the area. Keep up the attack until you finish him off and when he falls, head over to his corpse and loot it for the Ugly Herker Head item.

Now that we have the quest item, make your way to the new objective marker at the waterfront. Interact with the door marked here for a short scene.

Following the scene, we’ll have some new gear equipped. This will cause an ‘Scared Meter’ to appear on the left hand side of the screen. In order to progress with the mission, we need to attack and kill Scabs in and around the blue mission area further along the waterfront. Unfortunately, most of these Scabs are ranged gun-based attackers with 1-2 Rushers and a couple of Tossers and as such, you are required to keep moving whilst you take care of them.

With the Herker mask on, kill Scabs until the ‘Scared Meter’ is full!

Once you have the meter high enough, the blue mission area will shift away from the water a little. Enter the new area and again kill Scabs and Tossers to repeat the process. Again, once the meter is sufficiently filled, the mission area will once again shift. Fortunately, this is the final time, so get in there and kill Scabs (watch out for an abundance of Tossers!) until you fill up the meter completely.

Once the meter has maxed out, a scene will play to indicate completion of the side-quest.
