Somniel has several areas where you can shop and spend time with companions. While some of these will unlock in the earlier chapters of the game, many, like the Somniel Flea Market, won’t show up until you reach the midway point. The Flea Market is a useful resource in the game, especially if you’re interested in the slice-of-life bonding mechanics in Fire Emblem Engage.
When Does the Flea Market Become Available in Fire Emblem Engage?¶
You will gain access to the Flea Market once you have cleared the battle for Chapter 13. At this point, it will be added to the Somniel Poolside area. Unlike the other leisure activities in Somniel, the Flea Market isn’t always operated by an NPC. It is still a shop where you can spend your money at any time of the day.
What Does the Somniel Flea Market Sell in Fire Emblem Engage?¶
The Somniel Flea Market is essential for bonding with characters as it sells gifts. Every character has gifts that they love and hate, a good portion of which can be bought at the Somniel Flea Market. For a guide on which item each character loves, click here.
The Somniel Flea Market allows you to buy an unlimited number of any of the gifts that it has on offer. Surprisingly, these gifts are also relatively cheap. You can also pick up metal here that can be used at the Smithy. In addition, the goods that are sold in the shop will change after each battle. If you need an item to farm out relationship points with a certain character, then you should stock up while it’s still in stock.
