Fire Emblem Engage

How to Farm Gold and Silver Corrupted in Fire Emblem Engage

By
Nathan Garvin

As you campaign across Elyos, you’ll notice that enemies respawn on previously conquered map nodes. Clearing these random Skirmishes will earn you extra EXP, gold and loot (in the latter case, via Spirits of the Fallen), making it well worth your while to seek out and destroy these enemies when they appear. When the enemies at Skirmishes happen to be Corrupted, you may notice odd variants that are more lucrative than their less gilded kin. This page will discuss what rewards you’ll gain from killing these Golden Corrupted and Silver Corrupted enemies, and provide information about how you can get Golden Corrupted and Silver Corrupted to spawn more often.

(1 of 2) Raising a region’s Donation Level will increase the odds that Gold Corrupted or Silver Corrupted enemies spawn during Skirmishes.

What Are Gold Corrupted and Silver Corrupted Enemies in Fire Emblem Engage?

If a Skirmish features Corrupted enemies, they have a chance to spawn as Golden Corrupted or Silver Corrupted, which yield greater rewards when defeated. Silver Corrupted, for example, will give an immense amount of EXP, while Gold Corrupted will - no points for guessing - drop gold when defeated. The more regularly these enemies spawn, the more lucrative your Skirmishes will be, and who doesn’t want to expedite the grind?

How to Spawn Gold Corrupted and Silver Corrupted

Assuming you’re a generous Divine Dragon, you may have noticed one of the variables that increases when you donate gold to a realm are its Gold Corrupted and Silver Corrupted rates. These reflect how likely it is for Gold Corrupted and Silver Corrupted enemies to spawn during Skirmishes. The higher the rate, the more lucrative farming Skirmishes in that region will be. You can donate gold via the Bulletin Board in the Cafe Terrace on the Somniel. The chances for Gold Corrupted and Silver Corrupted to spawn varies by region and Donation Level, as follows:

Region Donation Level Gold Spawn Rate Silver Spawn Rate
Firene 1 20 10
Firene 2 20 10
Firene 3 30 20
Firene 4 30 20
Firene 5 40 30
Brodia 1 10 20
Brodia 2 10 20
Brodia 3 20 30
Brodia 4 20 30
Brodia 5 30 40
Elusia 1 30 20
Elusia 2 40 20
Elusia 3 50 20
Elusia 4 60 20
Elusia 5 70 20
Solm 1 20 30
Solm 2 20 40
Solm 3 20 50
Solm 4 20 60
Solm 5 20 70

As you can see, the late-game regions Elusia and Solm have higher odds of spawning Gold Corrupted and Silver Corrupted, respectively, and you may wish to focus on those realms based on your needs… when you’re far enough along that you can afford to be picky, anyways.

It’s also worth noting that since many of the rewards you can earn by completing Skirmishes are enhanced by the region’s Donation Level, you should definitely invest in each region you have unlocked to make Skirmishes more lucrative. Even expending the relatively small sum of 15,000G on each region to get them up to Donation Level 3 will result in a noticeable increase in Skirmish rewards.
