Tips

The God-in-Training challenges aren’t particularly fancy, but will require a lot of patience. To start with, the Ancient Ingots and Demonic Ingots can be crafted from Chalk Ore and Dark Ore stocked by the Rocky Hill Shrine shopkeeper.

Light Mana for the Godly Helm (and Shadow Mana ) can be purchased from the salesplush in Divinus’s Garden, upon completion of the Origin Island story, while the Divine Bird’s Feather is dropped by the Heaven Bird in Penguin Beach.

Divine Stones for the Godly Armour will require an experienced Miner to obtain from the Divine Stone in the north-west corner of the Central Grasslands.

If you’re struggling to obtain the above items, remember that you don’t have to make the Godly Helm or Armour; any 5 pieces of Godly equipment will suffice.

Meanwhile, Divine Cashmere for the other Godly items can be purchased from the Forest Shrine shopkeeper after completion of the Origin Island story or, if you’re a God-in-Training Tailor, crafted from Sparkling Goat Fleece.

Yellow Gels are sold by the Al Maajik Shady Shop or the Tome of Shadows during the day, while Yellow Stones are sold by the Castele ore merchant. Ancient Corals are rarer, dropped by the Sea Horses or Sea Mares in Penguin Beach.

Some God-in-Training recipes won’t be given to you straightaway.

When you need to make Rune equipment, you can rarely find Ancient Stones from the Stone Giants in the Central Grasslands; alternatively, they can be purchased from the fluffkin clerk at the top of any Ancient Tower trial.

Ancient Tails aren’t too difficult to find, dropped occasionally by the Leafysauruses inhabiting the Rocky Hill Shrine. Ancient Flowers are easier still, gotten from the common red flowers in the Central Grasslands

Rainbow Mana+ is a rare drop from the Rainbow Wraith boss, while Fire Mana+, Wind Mana+ and Water Mana+ are common drops from the elemental wisps found around Origin Island. Earth Mana+ , however, requires mining an Earth Wingstone or felling a Sacred Earth Tree.

The third equipment set–the Shadow series–requires Monster Hide , which is sold by the wood and leather merchant in Al Maajik with the Desert Shopping+ Bliss Bonus.

If you need a Black Crab Shell for the Shadow Cap, you’ll need to slay a Giant Crab towards the west side of Penguin Beach. Dark Stones for the Shadow Armour require some handiwork too–it must be mined from the Dark Stone to the east of the Rocky Hill Shrine.

Other-Wordly Powder is dropped by the Darkzine, Gustine, Blazine and Aquazine, often seen leading the elemental wisps. Meanwhile, Demonic Powder doesn’t require getting your hands dirty, just a trip to the Al Maajik Shady Shop.

For your last challenge, you can get an Ancient Shell by speaking to your master or by slaying a Turtanic in Tortuga Archipelago. To refresh your memory, Fossil Shards can be mined from the Cave of Bones or gotten as a rare drop from the Skeletons inside.

As for the actual crafting, it can be tough, especially if your stats aren’t up to par, but try your best to hang in there. Of course, it would help to craft the Clockwork Hammer ASAP so you have an easier time.

If you find a Soul Stone(+) from the Origin Island chests or the steel-clad guardians in the Ancient Tower, try adding it to your hammer to add Tool Power+.
