Tips¶
It was probably tough getting here, but the challenges ahead may not be as tough as you were expecting for someone approaching godhood.
The majority of the challenges ask you to defeat common elemental wisps scattered across the four zones of Origin Island. Of note, Rainbow Spirits only appear during the day and Dark Wisps at night, so you may need to borrow a bed to manipulate time.
Some of the wisps are also accompanied by stronger boss variants, such as the fiery Blazine, but you’re oddly not required to defeat any.
However you will be asked to defeat the Rainbow Spirits’ leader, the Rainbow Wraith , found in the centre or north part of the Central Grasslands during the day .
Luckily, the boss isn’t aggressive, so before provoking it, take your time to clear the arena of the Rainbow Spirits. The spirits aren’t aggressive either, but during the madness of battle, you’re bound to accidentally hit a few and enrage them.
The oversized bird fights nigh identical to the similar-looking Lightning Wraith faced during Master Rank. So expect the same wing slap, triple wing slap and dashing attacks.
The only difference is that the Rainbow Wraith may charge up power while stationary, then radiate rays of light around it. This attack has fairly large range, making it hard to avoid, so make sure to watch your HP levels.
Lastly, be careful of the Wraith’s special attack when below half HP: after pulling its body back and charging power, it may unleash a rapid volley of wind slashes ahead.
Basically, whenever you see the Wraith charge up power, run away from the direction it’s facing and you should see most of its attacks fly past you.
After defeating the Rainbow Wraith, you may receive a Rainbow Mana+ as a rare item drop; you won’t get it from cashing in the bounty.
