When you arrive back in Seafolk Village, Lillie will go and explain what’s happening to the village chief. Head towards the south-west corner to find out how the talks are going. Fortunately, there’s a way to reach Exeggutor Island, aboard the S.S. Magikarp. Oh, so that’s what it’s for.
After landing on the island, you can chat to the chief if you need to head back. Otherwise, head west to catch up with Lillie. The camera is pretty funny here; it loves to stay real close and really low to the ground, so try not to get disorientated.
Approach Lillie by the tree to find out why it’s called “Exeggutor” Island (besides the shape of the island). You’ll be ambushed by a wild Alolan Exeggutor. If you want, you can try and catch it; you can find more in the tall grass, but they’re uncommon.
Moving on, head north towards Lillie standing in front of the small cave. There’s some tall grass here if you want to catch some Pokemon or train your party. You can come back here later as well, so no rush. Once you regain control, search inside the small cave for a Big Pearl .
After that, head east. Go around the outer-most path first to collect a Prism Scale on the far north side of the island. A Feebas holding this will evolve into the beautiful Milotic when it’s traded. Next, go back and follow the path as it spirals up and around the hill.
As you turn the first corner, search the shrubbery towards the north to uncover a Heart Scale . Before long, you’ll arrive at the summit, which marks the endpoint of your little adventure on Exeggutor Island. Chat to Lillie by the pedestal to receive the Sun Flute or Moon Flute .
You’ll get the former if playing Pokemon Sun and the latter if playing Pokemon Moon. Makes sense, right? Afterwards, you’ll be automatically taken back to Seafolk Village, by the S.S. Magikarp. From here, you need to make your way to the Vast Poni Canyon.
