You will run into a lot of people during your stay in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, with some of them having some kind of problem. This results in plenty of side quests throughout your journey, one of which is called Decorate with Passion. You will find this in the Gerudo region and it’s a pretty short side quest, as you won’t need to do much to complete it.
Where to Start Decorate with Passion in Tears of the Kingdom¶
Once you reach the Surface, after falling down from the Sky, you will eventually receive the main quest, Regional Phenomena. This will have you travelling to four distinct locations on the map, one of which is the Gerudo Region. It is here that you will find this side quest. When you first set foot in the region, you will see the desert is covered with a giant sandstorm, but you don’t have to go through that to log this, thankfully.
If you find the main path in the desert, you will run right through the Kara Kara Bazaar. On the eastern side of the bazaar, there is a soldier that is sitting on the ground, next to two chests. Her name is Boraa and you can speak with her to start the side quest.
How to Complete Decorate with Passion in Tears of the Kingdom¶
This is a relatively simple side quest, as you need to bring a specific weapon to Boraa, or rather, a specific item fused to a weapon. Her mentor said to stylishly decorate a weapon and bring it to her, but Boraa isn’t sure what to actually do. The weapon needs to “sparkle” and it “must radiate burning passion,” but her mentor being allergic to monsters means their parts are off the table. Of course, once you know the solution, you will realize how easy this side quest actually is.
Where to Get Rubies in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom¶
You will need to fuse a weapon with a Ruby, then show it to Boraa. However, rubies aren’t exactly all too common, so you will now need to hunt one of those down. You can get rubies from Rare Ore Nodes, as well as drops from Stone Talus (Rare). If you’re looking for the latter, there’s one in Tanagar Canyon, which is north of Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower. You will also find a lot of rare ore nodes on the southern side of Death Mountain. Remember that you will need to fuse it to a weapon first, before you show it to Boraa.
There is one more way to finish this side quest, which is to actually get your hands on a !Ruby-fused weapon. There are two enemies that will always carry a ruby-fused weapon, which are Wizzrobes. Specifically, you will want either a Fire Wizzrobe, or its stronger counterpart, the Meteo Wizzrobe. They aren’t too tough of an enemy, although they “teleporting” around can be a nuisance. However, if you have any Chill Fruit in your inventory, fuse that with an arrow to instantly defeat them.
However you get your !Ruby, make sure you fuse it to any weapon, then show it to Boraa back at the bazaar. Once you do this, you will receive an Electric Keese Wing as a reward and be done with this quest.
