What are Flame Emitter Zonai Devices?¶
Flame Emitters are one of many Zonai devices that you’ll find in Shrines and in Zonai Device Dispensers. When they’re on, they emit a flame in the direction you’ve rotated the device and you can stick them onto stuff using ultrahand. They’re quite easy to use and have a few different main applications. If you’re using them in building, they work similarly to fans in the fact that you need to hit them to turn them on and off. They are a great for sticking to the bottom of balloon zonai devices as the heat will cause the balloons to rise, and so you’ll often find the two zonai devices in the same shrine - such as Sinakawak Shrine.

One great use for Flame Emitters is to fuse them to a weapon or a shield to set fire to enemies! You could also use these Flame Emitter fused weapons to light just about anything on fire. If there are bramble thorns in your way they can be helpful for clearing those up and you could also even use it to cook food in a pinch - though perhaps we’d recommend using wood and flint for that, rather than a Zonai Device! Burning things like bramble thorns and other flammable things can also create gusts of wind that you could use to paraglide!
You might want to use a Flame Emitter to clear the brambles that block your path to Rospro Pass Skyview Tower for example.
